Suggest a Better Method
A course in UnCubed is a set of stages, and each stage has a sequence and a sentence explaining it. If you know a shorter sequence, or a clearer way to say one, send it.
The Forms
3 short forms, and none of them needs an account. What they send is sorted by an AI model running on our own computer and gathered into a summary we read each week.
- Improve a Learn method A sequence or a sentence for one stage of one puzzle’s course.
- Suggest a feature Something the app should do, or do differently.
- Report a problem A bug, a crash, or an instruction that did not make sense.
Or write to support@uncubed.app. Email comes straight to us.
What Happens to a Proposal
- You send it Which puzzle, which stage, the sequence in any letters you like, and what you think it does better. An email address and a name to be credited by are optional.
- It is run on the puzzle The sequence is played through the puzzle’s own model, the same model the app solves with, from the positions that stage starts in. A sequence that does not do what it claims does not reach a lesson.
- A person decides Working is not the same as teaching better. Shorter, easier to hold in the hand, or easier to say: those are the reasons a proposal is adopted.
- You are told If you left an email address, you hear what happened. Proposals that are tested, adopted or declined are listed on this site, and a proposer is named only if they gave a name and said it could be used.
The checking step is being built. Until it runs, each proposal’s sequence is tried by hand, and the outcome is recorded the same way.
What Makes a Proposal Easy to Act On
- Name the puzzle and the stage, as the app names them.
- Give the sequence exactly, with R′ or R' spelled however you like, since both are read the same. These are the letters puzzle fans use to write moves down, and this page and the keyboard table on the cube you can turn are the only places on this site that use them.
- Say what it is better than, and why: fewer turns, one hold, easier to explain.
- If it is a sentence rather than a sequence, say which sentence it replaces.
What We Keep
What you type, and an email address or a credit name only if you give them, kept on our own computer. The privacy policy says how long each part is kept and how to have it deleted.
